Merc,

You need not worry.

I don't see anything wrong with using more manuka honey.

However, refer back to your doctor/physician to be safe.

brwneyez, the drink sounds fine.

Adding honey to it will also be of benefit.

raje,

Your comment is too vague! Are you consuming enough fibre? How much water do you drink? etc...

Mukhtiar,

I have not come across any "evidence" suggesting that honey + water helps to reduce weight.

However, sometimes we need to try and test things on ourselves (within reasonable guidelines and safety of course) and see what result(s) we get.

For example, 'divy' commented:

hi,
normally i feel hungry around 8a.m… but after having honey+warmwater, i dnt feel hungry until 11a.m.. guess it helps me to reduce my weight too

Everyone's experience is different and sometimes there aren't scientific studies done on our chosen question(s) unfortunately, however we can listen to our body and see we benefit from anything.

I wasn't able to get rid of my acne overnight! It took years of learning and trial and error/trial and improvement.

Hope that clarifies.

The hotness of the milk could effect the beneficial properties of the honey, though it WON'T turn it into something poisonous.
